Friends! We keep nervously adjusting our expectations of what's possible for this campaign upwards, and then you all keep immediately exceeding them. We really can't believe the insane magic you folks have brought to this project.

As of moments ago, we've unlocked the HARDCOVER COMPENDIUM, which was our final listed stretch goal! We really thought there was no chance we would need to come up with more stretch goals, but here we are!

Reminder: the COMPENDIUM (which is now HARDCOVER) is included with all ALCHEMIST, DARK ALCHEMIST and ENCHANTER editions. HERBALIST backers who want to add on the COMPENDIUM can switch to the HERBALIST AND COMPENDIUM tier. Anyone else who wants to get a book, or an extra book, can simply add $20 to their pledge if they're in the US and $30 to include shipping if they're outside of the US.

We've come up with some really exciting new stretch goals, and at this point we have no idea how many of these darn things we're going to unlock. It really seems impossible that we'll need to come up with any more than this, but I've said that twice and been wrong so I'm getting out of the prediction-making business.

Here's what the future might hold:

$185k: HI RES PAINTING DOWNLOAD! A lot of folks have asked us about prints, but for various formal reasons they don't really work for our fulfillment process. So we've decided to include one hi res painting download as a stretch goal, so folks can make their own prints. We'll let people weigh in on which image to use in an upcoming update.

$200k: SECOND PIN! We had a lot of competing feedback on which pin you all wanted us to make -- if we reach the lofty heights of $200K, we'll include the EGLANTINE PIN too. This will come with all ALCHEMIST, DARK ALCHEMIST and ENCHANTER editions, as well as being available as an add-on.

$210k: THICKER/EMBOSSIER COMPENDIUM! We'll emboss the cover of the hardcover compendium, and add 12 pages to the page count!

$220k: PRINTED INTERIOR OF THE HERBALIST BOX! We'll print artwork on the interior of the Herbalist drawer-boxes.

$230k: GILDED EDGES ON THE COMPENDIUM! We'll gold-foil the edges of the pages of the COMPENDIUM.

$240k: A STICKER! We'll include a free sticker with all editions of the deck.

$250k: RIBBON FOR THE COMPENDIUM! Keep your place in this growing tome with a bound-in silk ribbon.

Hi! It's us, your favorite frazzled & flabbergasted Kickstarter lunatics. As usual, we don't know what the heck to do with ourselves. We've done a lot of campaigns through Beehive, and this one has absolutely demolished all of our records in terms of backers and funding. We're into some profoundly uncharted territory here, and we're swimming with all our might just to keep up with this crazy rising tide.

Since our last update less than twenty four hours ago, we've unlocked FOUR NEW STRETCH GOALS! (Seriously!!)

We have a new tier and special bonus! We're producing a second enamel pin, based on Kevin's EGLANTINE design.

Like the DANDELION, this pin comes free of charge as part of every ALCHEMIST, DARK ALCHEMIST and ENCHANTER editions. Based on the way this is all trending, it looks like we're far from done! We can't believe this is happening, and keep double checking to make sure these numbers are not some kind of glitch in the Kickstarter system.

Hi hi hi! All we do these days is write updates! I hope they aren't annoying -- if you all would quit being so amazing, we'd stop bombarding you with announcements of cool new unlocked stretch goals and other additions to the campaign!

EVERY EXTANT STRETCH GOAL IS NOW UNLOCKED. Our minds are blown and our gasts are flabbered. THANK YOU friends!! We keep resetting new, wilder wildest expectations, and somehow we keep exceeding them overnight. 

In the past 24 hours, you all unlocked:

We've come up with a cool new set of stretch goals! Rather that overcrowd things with a ton of minor goals, we've spaced them out a little bit more so each one is something genuinely cool and impactful to the campaign. Also we frankly can't keep pace with this speed of unlocking, so we're trying for something more manageable. (These are our champagne problems.)

Here's your new mission, should you choose to accept it:

$275k: DIGITAL WALLPAPER & PRINTABLE CALENDAR! We'll send you a bundle of 15 beautiful digital wallpapers designed by Kevin Jay Stanton (including one designed exclusively for this campaign!), and a digital floral calendar to print at home! These will be sent out to every backer of the campaign.

$300k: BOTANICA PATCH! We'll design an iron-on 2" patch, which will be included with all ALCHEMIST, DARK ALCHEMIST and ENCHANTER tiers, as well as as an add-on for any lower tier.  We will also add TWO MORE HIGH RESOLUTION PAINTING DOWNLOADS for you to make prints from.

$325k: THREE TERRARIUM STICKERS! We'll include a trio of circular terrarium stickers with all editions of the deck.

$350k: MINI MEDITATION JOURNAL! Kevin will design a small journal, sized to fit inside the card box, which you can use to record your readings, notes and thoughts as you explore the world of BOTANICA. This will be included with all ALCHEMIST, DARK ALCHEMIST and ENCHANTER tiers, as well as an an add-on for any other tier. 

Once again, I feel we've padded these out far enough to carry us well through the end of the campaign, but LITERALLY EVERY TIME I TYPE THAT I TURN OUT TO BE WRONG so who knows what to expect.

You all are the best. This campaign has been like nothing we've ever experienced. We've still got 5 days to go. It seems that when we're together there's nothing we can't do.

Long Awaited STRETCH GOAL Announcement!

Hello fellow Botanists!

There are so many more of you now than we expected that we're having a bit of trouble keeping up! I think they call these "champagne problems." If you're waiting on an answer to a query or comment, hang tight, we're getting to you!

We've finally scrambled together our list of stretch goals! We never thought it would be possible to add on and customize the decks in so many amazing ways. We've already blown past our first two goals before we even had time to get the list up! Here's the breakdown, with further details below.

$55,000: UNLOCKED! GILDED EDGES on all cards!

$75,000: UNLOCKED! EMBOSSED DETAILS on all HERBALIST boxes. The HERBALIST boxes are now included with all ALCHEMIST, DARK ALCHEMIST, and ENCHANTER sets!

$100,000: A 1" HARD ENAMEL BOUTONNIERE PIN! We haven't finalized the design yet. There are three we're considering. We'll post an update tomorrow and you all can tell us which ones are your faves!

$110,000: DRAWER-STYLE HERBALIST BOXES! We'll replace the tuck-box with a more substantial drawer-box. This is included with all decks HERBALIST and above.

$120,000: THREE MINI-POSTCARDS PER DECK! Tarot-sized postcards to mail to your friends!

$130,000: DIGITAL-FORMAT PROCESS BOOK! A 100 page PDF containing Kevin Jay Stanton's notes, process art, research, and descriptions of the mythology and symbolism behind each card in the deck.

$150,000: PAPERBACK PROCESS BOOK! The book will be printed and included with all ALCHEMIST, DARK ALCHEMIST and ENCHANTER sets.

$175,000: HARDCOVER PROCESS BOOK! The paperback book will be updated to a hardcover!

We'll be adding more new goals, bonuses and extras as we go along! It's hard to imagine we'd need any levels beyond $175k, but at this point it feels like anything's possible.

Ack! Every time we make a new plan, you all rush in to pledge faster than we can announce things!

We're still working out the details for our new stretch goals -- look out for those very soon. But THE GILDED EDGES ARE UNLOCKED! We'e so excited.

And now, we're announcing a new rewards tier! Because we sold out of the ALCHEMIST EDITIONS faster than we ever thought possible, and because we've received dozens of messages still clamoring for metal tins, we're announcing a new unsigned, unnumbered version in  a black metal tin.

Meet THE DARK ALCHEMIST.

This beautiful black-on-black baby comes with the altar cloth, and booklet, and digital access to everything. It lacks the signed-and-numbered collectibility of THE ALCHEMIST (as well as its mega-shiny antique brass finish) but is otherwise similar. Perfect for practitioners the dark arts, accessorizing goths, and anyone who just didn't get to THE ALCHEMIST in time.

Also, one more time, let's gawk together at the gilded edges. Eeeeeeee!
